Please stop applying tire shine on your tires when parked on your driveway

I’ll admit it. I was guilty of doing this myself years ago.

Applying tire shine while your vehicle is parked on your driveway often leaves behind those frustrating white rings. Fortunately, they usually disappear once the concrete or pavers dry completely.

However, if you’re planning to have your pavers professionally sealed, it’s worth changing this one small habit. I have personally witnessed some instances where tire shine rings would not completely come out!

A Better Place to Apply Tire Shine

My recommendation is simple: Apply tire shine inside your garage whenever possible. Very few people pay attention to the garage floor, and because it typically stays dry, those white rings are rarely noticeable.

No garage? Pull your vehicle into the street before applying tire shine. Your driveway will thank you.
