Partial House Washing
A small percentage of customers each year call in with the quote request for a partial house washing. When these customers do call in they specifically request a single elevation to comply with an H.O.A. violation. In the images below you can clearly see the “clean” streaks coming down the exterior walls where we applied our cleaning chemicals to the gutters and/or soffits. Unless you have an all brick exterior home we have to spray full coverage of the walls in order to uniformly clean the outside of your home.
H.O.A. violation letter
Having cleaned thousands of homes over the years I would safely say that at least 500 customers have called in requesting an exterior cleaning estimate stating they received a letter from their H.O.A. These letters are typically one to two pages in length with a simple statement directive to “clean siding” or “clean driveway”. On occasions they can also get a notice to “clean fencing & gates”.
For anyone and everyone that knows me I love to use percentages in daily conversations. Knowing my love for using percentages I will say with confidence that if you are personally in receipt of an H.O.A. cleaning violation letter. 99% of the time upon arrival at the customers home the whole entire house exterior is in need of professional cleaning. If a customer requests only to have their soffits cleaned we always tell them that we must clean the entire wall under the soffits from top to bottom, or it will leave “clean streaks”. Your homes exterior should be professionally soft washed once per year in order to maintain a like new appearance. If you have been d.i.y. cleaning your homes exterior more than likely you are doing it wrong.
Pressure washing can be expensive
We agree and totally understand that professional pressure washing quotes are no fun to review. The average exterior house wash alone is around $350.00 for a 2,500 square foot home! Inquires from customers on partial house washing can be tough to explain, but in summary you really should be getting your entire home exterior cleaned annually to avoid electronically bonded stains on the elevations you are wanting to put off cleaning for down the road.
