When people ask how I got into pressure washing
They usually expect some elaborate business plan.
The truth is… it started because I was tired of cleaning my own house.
Like many Florida homeowners, I spent entire weekends fighting algae, mildew, pollen, and the layer of grime that seems to magically appear overnight. Every year, washing my home, driveway, pool deck, and walkways turned into a three- or four-day workout involving endless scrubbing, sore muscles, and a few choice words directed at Mother Nature.
Then I invested in a professional-grade pressure washing system.
The first time I used it, I couldn’t believe the difference. The same cleaning project that used to consume my entire weekend was finished in just three to four hours—and the results looked dramatically better. That experience changed everything.
It wasn’t just about having better equipment. I realized that using the right machines, proper cleaning solutions, and the correct techniques made all the difference. Cleaning wasn’t supposed to be backbreaking work it was supposed to be done efficiently, safely, and correctly.
That’s when I decided to build a business around helping homeowners enjoy clean, beautiful properties without sacrificing their weekends.
In 2013, I founded The Pressure Kru, Inc.
More than a decade later, I’ve had the privilege of restoring thousands of homes, driveways, pool enclosures, paver patios, roofs, fences, and commercial properties throughout St. Johns County and the surrounding Jacksonville area.
Built on More Than Just Experience
Before starting The Pressure Kru, I earned a Bachelor of Science & Technology in Building Construction/Contracting from Georgia Southern University. Employed as Project Manager for over a decade gave me a strong understanding of how homes are built, how different exterior materials perform over time, and why every surface requires the proper cleaning method.
That knowledge matters.
Using too much pressure can permanently damage stucco, siding, painted surfaces, wood, and even concrete. That’s why every project begins with choosing the safest and most effective cleaning method and not simply turning the pressure up as high as it will go.
Whether it’s soft washing a delicate coquina home, cleaning a grime covered driveway, or paver sealing a pool deck & patio , my goal is always the same:
Deliver exceptional results while treating every home as if it were my own.
